Punk Rock Karaoke

Punk Rock Karaoke is made for drunks who like to pump fists and make noise. Musically, this super rad CD/DVD combo features classic punk songs covered by punk veterans and members of NOFX, Bad Religion, Social Distortion and Adolescents.
There are two karaoke options. The first is to sing along with vocalists from The Vandals, Lagwagon and MXPX. The second is to sing along to instrumental punk tracks on your own. The latter poses a slight challenge since the words on the screen don't match up exactly with the flow of the songs. The visuals are pretty messy, with poor-quality vintage footage of cheesy movie scenes, carnivals and random punk kids eating ice cream and going through garbage.
Punk Rock Karaoke is also a band that have been playing for more than a decade and have been part of the Warped Tour. The DVD's bonus features include interviews with the band members and live footage. The CD is a wicked listen, too. Although the song choices aren't the best, this definitely has the makings of a fun, drunk punk rock night. Your living room may not be as exciting as a crowded Hollywood strip bar, but a punk's gotta start somewhere.
