One of the best boy/girl indie-pop outfits this side of Stars, Young And Sexy return with their third LP, and despite the title there's no need to panic. The Vancouverites continue to perfect their sound, creating careful studio equations that consistently add up. "Curious Organ" bursts with horns and handclaps, while "Lullaby" skips along on a rolling beat and a soaring Shins-esque refrain, but the rest of the disc is largely a more sombre affair. Lucy Brain's lonely vocals call out from a bed of electric guitar whine on "Your Love," and she trades verses with a lulling Paul Hixon Pittman on the strange and beautiful "5/4." An added bonus is the gleaming production, which only benefits the band's consistently bold and adventurous pop.
