- Accidental Railway
- Indica/Outside
- 3.5 / 5

From Lederhosen Lucil to Krista L. L. Muir to just Krista Muir, the transition from hilarious novelty act to "serious musician" appears to be complete. Accidental Railway is Muir's second full album since leaving behind her synth-toting, German alter-ego to record under her given name. It's a smooth affair, suitable to coffee shops and lounges, long baths and organic chocolate. Muir's voice is soft and sweet. She breathes through the album like wind rustling the trees. The album is nice, but the one song that immediately stands out is "Drugging The Drain." The catchy acoustic guitar riff grabs your ears while Muir's layered vocals fill them with happy sounds. Those who purchase Accidental Railway will definitely get their money's worth. Muir is expertly targeting the cross-legged, tea-drinking, craft show market. The album will come with chord charts and — get this — recipes so you can both play and eat along with the album. Sadly, the promo copy didn't include these things, so I can't review the food. It will almost certainly be vegetarian.
