- Alphabutt
- K/Sonic Unyon
- 3 / 5

I'll always enjoy Dawson's do-it-yourself approach and lazy vocals, but Alphabutt doesn't cut it. This album was apparently inspired by the birth of her baby, named Panda. It's obviously made for children, and as much as it's cute and I'm sure effective, I don't know how much I would want my future kids (or any kids I know) going around singing "C is for cat butt/D is for doo-doo/E is for elephant doo-doo/F is for fart." Yes, it's a cheeky way to learn the alphabet, but there's perhaps a wee bit too much scat obsession going on. It's not all shitty, though. Dawson also includes songs about a dog named Louie, an Uncle Hukee, making smoothies, and bears. Still, I'll be skipping it when looking for music to play for kids.
