The only reason anyone knows or cares about I Set My Friends On Fire is because of their cover of "Crank That (Soulja Boy)." Despite this plainly obvious fact, their hilariously titled debut album manages to be fun and entertaining. It actually hurts me that I just said that. When the grind-electro-hardcore-pop duo aren't being obnoxious or comedic, there are some tunes that are actually good. Even the "Crank That" cover is fun on record. If you don't like any part of it after one listen, don't even try to listen again. It's not remotely deep at all. The lyrics I can decipher also sound incredibly unintelligent, but sidesplitting nonetheless. God, I want to hate this record. I guess I can rest easy knowing that this internet fad of a band will die off after this album.
