For those who've long awaited a DVD from Hatebreed, now you have two of them with Live Dominance, a double set filled with mostly newer live performances. The first disc contains a complete headlining show with more than 20 tracks filmed at Harpos in Detroit with multiple camera angles that have been edited to capture the chaos of a typical Hatebreed show. The second disc features further footage from the Detroit show, including two video interviews with the band and lots of old and rare photos strewn throughout. There are also six live performances filmed in New York City and Connecticut and some other material that's borderline filler. While the live content is fantastic, I would have enjoyed a better documentation of the entire Hatebreed history with lots of old and new footage of the band. But in one of the interviews, vocalist Jamey Jasta makes it clear that the current Hatebreed lineup is the definitive representation of the band, and that this DVD is how he wants the world to remember the band he started nearly 15 years ago, so I guess they're not too keen on looking back.
