- So This Is Goodbye
- Domino/Outside
- 3 / 5

The first
single from Junior Boys' new album, "In The Morning," is a solid piece
of Kraftwerk-inspired synth pop that blends breathy beat boxing,
staccato guitars and the most funked and soulful singing Jeremy
Greenspan has ever shown off. Unfortunately, the musical surprises end
here — at track five. This record has attitude, variety and a glowing
synth cover of Sinatra's "When No One Cares." But in a time where
artists are creating truly innovative electronic albums, I have a hard
time bowing down to the untouchable said genius of Junior Boys.
Although STIG has heart and danceable moments, it quickly becomes too
familiar and you can't help but feel there are more exciting things you
could be listening to.
