The Creepshow — Run For Your Life
- Run For Your Life
- Stomp/Warner
- 4 / 5

It's been two years since The Creepshow released their Sell Your Soul debut and a lot has changed for the band since then. Lead singer Jen "Hellcat" Blackwood left to have a baby and was replaced by her sister, Sarah "Sin" Blackwood. Sin's voice is a bit grittier than Hellcat's, but she can still hit the high notes her sister could, and she seems to have pushed the band up a notch. On Run For Your Life, The Creepshow tear through songs like "Demon Lover" and the title track with more speed than was found on Sell Your Soul. When Sin croons, "I wanna make you know the meaning of my pain" before yelling out "I'll smash you in the face," on "You'll Come Crawlin'," you have to believe her. Aside from that, there's nothing really new on this album, and most of the tracks are your typical slasher/zombie/vampire flick-referencing horror punk. That's not necessarily a bad thing, though, as it's a formula that's worked for The Creepshow before and seems to be working for them even more now.
