For
anybody who's been watching the new HBO series Flight Of The Conchords,
you'll be well-versed in the musical antics of acoustic duo Jemaine
Clement and Bret McKenzie. For anyone who hasn't been watching the
show, I can't help but ask, "What's your problem?" Flight Of The
Conchords not only lampoon some of the most popular cliches in pop
music, but they perform every song as though it's the most important
and heartfelt music you will ever hear, making the parody so much
funnier. The boys effortlessly glide from crass but sweetly innocent
propositions on "If You're Into It" to some of the funniest heartbreak
ever recorded on "I'm Not Crying." A fitting summation of the too short
but hilarious and brilliant EP comes from the absurdly seductive
"Business Time," where Clement relays,"When you tell me you want some
more, well I'm not surprised, but I'm quite sleepy."
