You can either blame or praise Pantera for setting the bar unreachably high when it comes to documenting backstage pranks, ridiculous dares and alcohol consumption as they did on 3 Vulgar Videos From Hell. Now everybody tries to do the same thing and it's funny when bands that are hardly up to the task try to take on the same formula, especially a European power metal band like Hammerfall. Far more subdued than any other metal band I've seen on DVD, Hammerfall occasionally drink and cause some hotel room hijinks, but every story they tell has a "This one time, at band camp..." innocence to it. I'm sure the Hammerfall fans will still be mildly amused by the band's level of debauchery, but far more interesting are tales of the band's endless globetrotting in countries like Japan, Brazil and Russia, where people are far more into the Swedish quintet than we are in North America.
