If you've ever wondered what the most annoying sound in the world is, I'll let you in on the answer: it's New Found Glory lead singer Jordan Pundik's voice when he tries to hit high notes. Their Tip Of The Iceberg EP features three new songs and three covers of bands that influenced them: Gorilla Biscuits, Lifetime and Shelter. The new songs all sound exactly like everything New Found Glory have ever put out, which isn't exactly a compliment. The cover of Gorilla Biscuits' "No Reason Why" kind of pisses me off, because who are New Found Glory to cover Gorilla Biscuits? The second disc is a 12-song album by the International Superheroes Of Hardcore, a moniker for New Found Glory with guitarist Chad Gilbert doing the singing instead of Pundik. This album is basically a big joke. With songs about seatbelt safety, Back To The Future, hokey pokey and eBay, it isn't the most serious music you can buy, but at least it's enjoyable. The songs are short enough that they don't get irritating, especially since they lack Pundik's horrible nasal whine.
