Inward Eye @ CMW 2008

Live Review
Inward Eye
BACKGROUND/COMPOSITION: Inward Eye have no qualms about utterly losing themselves in the mod-pop assault they lay down for audiences show after show, but after a few frenetic guitar solos and non-stop posturing, you can't help but wonder where one song ended and the next began.

Grade: 80

Comment:Inward Eye have been playing these showcases for a while now, but it seems like much of what they have to bring just remains the same. They wear their influences proudly on their sleeves as emmisaries of wild, unabashed rock, but whirling dervish guitar playing and frantic yelps into a microphone have yet to prove why we should care beyond their raucous set.
