Use Of Stage:G
Strengths/Weaknesses/Next Step:
The obligatory go-go dancer in a bellaclava and a stage full of collaborators created a festive atmosphere for Gibb. Between-song banter was clumsy, but when the songs started to build momentum, the audience was enthralled.

Strengths/Weaknesses/Next Step: Gibb's sound may be billed as "gay folk church music," but it sounds more like a mutant hybrid of Buddy Holly and Belle And Sebastian. There were lots of people on the mics, throwing in the occasional hoot and holler, but it certainly wasn't a polyphonic spree. Gibb could probably get by musically with about half as many people, but his army of onstage lovers does create a notable feel-good vibe.
