Comment: Dance, dance, dance. And maybe a few "Woohoo!" shout-outs. That's all you wanna do while watching The Colour of Soul. An all-out funk and soul onslaught with hair-on-the-arms raising saxophone solos. These guys instantly get the audience up and dancing.

Strengths/ Weaknesses/ Next Step: Funny interludes by lead man/saxophonist keep the crowd smilin' while they're dancing. These guys have the look of late night talk show band with all their instruments. Kudos for playing the short, all-out instrumental "Goodnight, thanks for coming out!" jam to lead the set off.

Strengths/ Weaknesses/ Next Step: Tight musicianship here. These guys look like pros up there. The soulful funk of their music is so infectious even this dance geek was able to get down and look half decent. Their "slow jams" were just sexiness personified.

Strengths/ Weaknesses/ Next Step: Front man oozes charisma as he kept the crowd amused between sets with his ramblings. No indie rock footwear for these guys as they opt for the more appropriate slick, late night show band look. Many thank yous to the band for makin the ladies get up and "shake their thang." Thank you.
