Comment: It's a grudging admission, but this band should probably do pretty well in the future. They have the image, the talent and the easily digestible music. However, their inlcination to encourage fans to remove their clothes may not go over so well with parents.

Strengths/ Weaknesses/ Next Step: The lead guitarist (who eerily resembles Paul Schaeffer) has some dancing skills that pull down the bands overall image - Imagine Rcihard Simmons in rock clothes with a guitar doing a "Dancing To The Oldies" jig. As far as stage banter goes, See Spot Run have the shit down pat, but muff it up from time to time saying inane things.

Strengths/ Weaknesses/ Next Step: See Spot Run have a knack for writing short and punchy songs that appeal to the audience. And while it's fluffy alternative, it's definitely marketable. And the quality of a live performance is nothing to sneer at (despite some painful recurring feedabck during one of the songs). However, lads, clapping your hands over your head is a little, uh... dated. As is playing back to back.

Strengths/ Weaknesses/ Next Step: See Spot Run have some good clothes, but they strike me as a very non-sexy group of guys. And while their music is generally not that aggressive, some of the acoustic-based stuff seems to suit their musical style a little better. All in all, they're certainly not my style, but they will appeal to a lot of other people.
