Hometown: Toronto, ON
Background/Composition: Led by Spookey, this four-piece gives out a blend of quirky pop that has a dash of warped Joe Jackson to it. The band's keyboard player doubles on trumpet to shake things up a bit.
Achievement of Rock 'n' Roll Expectations
80-100: Band exceeds skill and knowledge expectations. Rocked us so hard we peed our pants.
70-79: Band achieves required skills and knowledge. Meets rock 'n' roll standard.
60-69: Demonstrates some skills. Approaches rock 'n' roll standard.
50-59: Band demonstrates some required skills and knowledge in a limited way.
Below 50: Band has not demonstrated required skills or knowledge.
Grade: 78
Comment: Spookey and his band play it tight and smart live, and have a whole range of different genres that they dabble in, but for the most part stick to slighty progressive pop. The musicians in Spook4y's band are of high calibre, and the songs are hummable, if not warped.
