Background/Composition: These five lads from Halifax are a frantic bunch who dish out their metal/screamo concoction with not one, but two high-energy screamo vocalists.

Comment: While they were setting up, they came across as nice boys - a couple of them look like they're in the last year of high school. But once they started, they unleashed a sonic assault on the senses.

Strengths/Weaknesses/NextStep: The Letter Unfolded are wild and spastic on stage. They have a look that their peers can relate to i.e. skater shoes, chain wallet, tattoos and '80s skinny jeans. The stage banter was kept to a minimum and was usually incoherent, but it didn't matter, they were fun to watch.

Strengths/Weaknesses/NextStep: They might look young but these guys rock hard and are not afraid of shooting in bizarre time signatures at a moment's notice. They also have a drummer who injected double kick in almost all their songs just in case you loved it as much as he does.
