Background/Composition: This quartet of three women and a man enjoy dishing out a heavy dose of crunch-heavy rock 'n' roll that has been slightly dipped in a mix of blues and early '70s Detroit rock.
Grade: 86
Comment: The Cliks are for real. Don't expect cheesy, drippy bubblegum pop-rock from this good looking and styling group. From the first note, chord and beat, they hammer their balls-to-wall rock. They're tight and have a great rhythm section that keeps the foundation together, and a lead guitar axe-woman who's going to have the boys and girls drooling.
Achievement of Rock 'n' Roll Expectations
80-100: Exceeds skill and knowledge expectations, i.e. rocked us so hard we peed our pants.
70-79: Achieves required skills and knowledge. Meets rock 'n' roll standard.
60-69: Demonstrates some skills. Approaches rock 'n' roll standard.
50-59: Demonstrates some required skills and knowledge in a limited way.
00-50: Has not demonstrated required skills or knowledge.

Strengths/Weaknesses/NextStep: The Cliks are one of those bands that are really fun to watch. They look hot; their style works well with their grimey brand of rock 'n' roll. They all make an effort to entertain the audience and themselves and they do a great job hyping the crowd.

Strengths/Weaknesses/NextStep: The Cliks know how to kick out the jams. They not only deliver thunder-crunching guitar riffs, but every so often they show you that pop hooks aren't out of their reach. Their track "Oh Yeah" is a great fist-pumping, sing-along that can get anyone in the mood.

Strengths/Weaknesses/NextStep: Between Lucas Silveira's lead vocals sounding like Elvis Presley meets Jon Spencer meets Joan Jett, a female rhythm section that has mad skillz, and a lead guitarist who knows how to turn on the "sexy," The Cliks are a great band worth seeing more than once. And they do a fantastic version of Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River."
