Background/Composition: Standard rock trio have a darker sensibility to their sound.
Grade: 74
Comment: Star Into The Sun were a solid but not spectacular trio who will probably never make it to rock 'n' roll superstardom. They're probably good enough to become popular in their hometown.
Achievement of Rock 'n' Roll Expectations
80-100: Exceeds skill and knowledge expectations, i.e. rocked us so hard we peed our pants.
70-79: Achieves required skills and knowledge. Meets rock 'n' roll standard.
60-69: Demonstrates some skills. Approaches rock 'n' roll standard.
50-59: Demonstrates some required skills and knowledge in a limited way.
00-50: Has not demonstrated required skills or knowledge.
Learning Skills: E=Excellent, G=Good, S=Satisfactory, N=Sad Really
Oral And Visual Communication
Eye Contact: G

Stage Presence: G

Strengths/Weaknesses/NextStep: Stare Into The Sun pulled off a fully compentent set that was perfectly suited to open the night. That may be the problem though: always a bridesmaid, never the bride. If they focused a little more on finding their own sound and didn't try so hard to be the likes of, say, Joy Division, there might be some potential for these Detroit natives.

Strengths/Weaknesses/NextStep: Replacing their drumemr on short notice didn't seem to phase these guys one bit. Sure, there were a few hiccups, but nothing so glaringly obvious that made anyone cringe.
