Strengths/Weaknesses/NextStep: Stare Into The Sun pulled off a fully compentent set that was perfectly suited to open the night. That may be the problem though: always a bridesmaid, never the bride. If they focused a little more on finding their own sound and didn't try so hard to be the likes of, say, Joy Division, there might be some potential for these Detroit natives.

Strengths/Weaknesses/NextStep: Replacing their drumemr on short notice didn't seem to phase these guys one bit. Sure, there were a few hiccups, but nothing so glaringly obvious that made anyone cringe.
