Background/Composition: Youngsters who play indie pop infused with a lot of bass and synth.

Comment: Quite possibly the biggest surpirse thus far in the game, Spiral Beach were incredible. Thier music was mature, their antics amusing and their presence infectious.

Strengths/Weaknesses/NextStep: Frontwoman Maddy Wilde's vocals were beautiful and strong. Her jazzy style of singing complemented the band's bass-heavy music very well. The band hammered out their tunes in a flawless fashion, making their performance a solid one.

Strengths/Weaknesses/NextStep: With a funny tweaked movie poster as their backdrop, this band's energy and the obvious fun they were having on stage made for a favourable performance. They all danced about, making the afro-like mass of curls (save for Maddy, they all had curly hair) on their heads bounce about. Maddy wore a cute little rocker dress that she jumped about in.
