Terminal Wallys @ CMW 2006

Live Review
CMW 2006

Hometown:  London, ON

Background/Composition: Classic case punk rock that remains true to its roots without doing anything new at all.

Grade:
69

Comment:
While so much better than the mall punk we've been force-fed by top 40s radio, it's hard to get excited about the Terminal Wallys sound. We've been hearing bands like them since those church basement shows in high school.

Songs: S
Strengths/Weaknesses/Next Step: There's not terribly much to say, punk has become a bit too colour-by-numbers at this point and new bands with new things to say end up sounding like old bands with the same things to say. Terminal Wallys fit quite readily into this category.
