Stage Banter: S

Appearance: G
Use Of Stage: E
Strengths/Weaknesses/Next Step: Given the amount of sheer energy onstage, it was hard to know who to watch, and Latefallen kept up the bouncing, hollering and rocking out for their entire freakin' set. No slowing down to catch your breath here. Stage banter could use a bit of work, especially with the crowd of young girls at the front hanging on to the cute frontman's every word.

Sound: G
Composition: G
Songs: G
Strengths/Weaknesses/Next Step: They both looked and sounded like a unit, with a solid lock on their instrumentation and sound. There was a good mix of fast and slower tunes, which made for decentvariety and kept the crowd from nodding off. Melodic screamo Toronto style, even if all the band members (except the singer) looked a bit too old for theirteen-angst lyrical content.

Strengths/Weaknesses/Next Step: Tattoos, dyed hair, faux hawks and other bands' T-shirts were the order of the day with Latefallen, andthe result was looking like they weren't trying too hard. The bassist also warranted bonus points for having tattooed toes rather than "indie rockfootwear," so we'll definitely have to give him that.
