One never thought that Glasgow, Scotland would give birth to such sensitive and charming lads as those in Travis, but the sold-out crowd at The Warehouse in Toronto ate up their sad love songs with a huge spoon last Tuesday, September 12.
Kicking off the night with "All I Wanna Do Is Rock" ensured that this was to be a rockin' affair, but one look at sweaty frontman Fran Healy (pictured above) as he passionately cooed his poetic lyrics with eyes tightly shut let the audience know this was going to be a hand-holding, staring-into-your-lovers-eyes kind of night.
There was no Britney Spears cover, but a pretty solid version of The Band's "The Weight" both surprised and pleased those waiting to see the band rock out during the night.
