The Weekend's bassist Lorien Jones posed for a shot with Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong backstage at The Warehouse on Friday night. The youngsters from London, ON were excited to the point of near vomiting when they found out that they had landed the prestigious opening slot for the Green Day show. Billie Joe took time out from chucking stuff at the dressing room wall to pop his head through the dividing doors to ask the quartet how they enjoyed playing in front of such a large audience. They responded that they were really nervous and even admitted that they've never opened for such a great band before.
