There are few frontmen or women more frenetic on stage than The Go! Team's Ninja, who stopped by the Phoenix in Toronto with Ian Parton and the rest of the band on Nov. 1. During the course of any of the band's performances, she's usually jumping, clapping, shaking or dancing her ass off. I'd go so far as to say The Go! Team's performances could be filmed and sold as aerobics tapes. Hey, it's a lot cheaper to dance along with Ninja than it is to install a stripper pole in your rec room. A tad classier, I might add.
