For many of the 35,000 people at Molson Park in Barrie, ON Canada Day means one thing, EdgeFest 2000. The annual tradition of spending Canada Day rockin' out to great bands.
This year's show included The Tea Party, Matthew Good Band, Limblifter, Serial Joe, The Headstones, Goldfinger and, of course, headliners Creed. Creed's vocalist Scott Stapp (pictured above) thanked the crowd for inviting them to celebrate our day. Those with all access passes had a chance to watch Stapp play a mean game of ping pong in the backstage area.
In a rare move ChartAttack.com allowed him his privacy and didn't intrude on his game. Although if we knew the band's pyro was going to nearly set us on fire when we took this photo we would have taken the shot of him playing ping pong.
There was plenty excitement throughout the beautiful sunshinin' day. Whether it was Peaches screaming that she would never be invited back and offering to take off her top, Goldfinger using the catwalk as a mosh pit diving board, or The Tea Party performing David Bowie's "Heroes," everyone went home with a memory.
