Hear “Trainwreck 1979,” a new song from Death From Above 1979

How has a billion years on hiatus treated the adored Canadian dance punk band?

This evening on BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe - whose lofty preamble sounded like he was introducing the first human being ever - gave us "Trainwreck 1979," a new song by Death From Above 1979 from an upcoming album The Physical World, which by their admission sounds like a meal ticket. Listen here. The song starts at around 1hr 52mins. Will you dance to it and attempt to Ouija the spirit of 2005? Does that weird generic disco chorus leave you feeling like your abandoned Myspace account as well? Give it a go.

Death From Above 1979's new album The Physical World is out September 9 via Last Gang.
