Bad History Month

Listen to Bad History Month’s nuclear bunker lo-fi track “Staring At My Hands”

Jeff Meff's project gets an almost new name, great doomy sound.

Bad History Month (formerly Fat History Month, still the project of Jeff Meff) is releasing a split EP with Dust From 1000 Yrs, and "Staring At My Hands" bodes well for it. A noisy, skeletal track, it chatters gloriously with the twangy ghost of Pavement past as it ruminates on spiritual and physical death, with some deadly-ass ghost banging its fist on Meff's door by way of a kick drum. Thank Exploding In Sound for igniting great moments in the tricky niche of referential yet dynamic slacker rock (see Palehound, Krill).

Bad History Month and Dust From 1000 Yrs' Famous Cigarettes is out June 10 via Exploding in Sound; pre-order it here.
