Yours Truly's "Songs From Scratch" series is behind collaborations from Danny Brown and AraabMuzik, Shlohmo and Jeremih and more. Now Fade To Mind's Kelela and rising Chicago rapper Tink have been summoned for "Want It," featuring a yacht-y and sparse beat from DJ Dahi.

Formed around the beginnings of an affair, Kelela sounds a lot more smitten than on "The High," her somnambulant soul a nice pre-game before Tink makes her demands for the evening. It's a progressive listen, in that both women assert themselves as leaders of the rendezvous, while their Aaliyah/Da Brat dynamic makes it a parallel narrative to the spurned styles of "Stickin' Chickens."
