[listen] Veronica Falls – “Teenage”

Indie pop that totally gets the teen years.

- Nov 12, 2012

My teenage years may have been, for the most part, a sticky, bepimpled misery fountain, yet I can still appreciate the irrepressible joy powering the indie pop of “Teenage” from Veronica Falls. It's wholly authentic to the teenage experience, in that even in moments of unrestrained ecstasy there's still dark clouds of angst casting their shadows. Sure, biology was cancelled and you're in love and your parents have left town and their car for the weekend, but why does everyone hate you?

Waiting For Something To Happen is out February 13th via Slumberland/Bell Union
