Check out post-punk duo Burning Motherfuckers’ self-titled EP

A punishing new post-punk drum and bass duo from Norway drops a new EP.

- Oct 1, 2012

We're all pleased that Death From Above 1979 got back together. And there's nothing more fierce and sonically barbarous than a Lightening Bolt show. But the two-man punk band genre could use some new blood, and Norwegian group Burning Motherfuckers have plasma to spare. Their new EP (streaming below) is battle-ready post-punk that doesn't just want your body to mosh; it wants your brain to bob and weave like you're sparring against the many knuckle-dusted influences that come at you with crushing force. So Burning Motherfuckers aren't just physically gruelling, they better expand the existing creative borders of the drum-and-bass duo unit into new and exciting sonic realms with skill, sincerity, and good humor.

The EP's available for sale on their Bandcamp for 50 Norwegian krone, which I will assume is a very reasonable price.
