"Enjoy" is a new direction for Mozart's Sister. Her "video single" is a single shot of Caila Thompson-Hannant swaying in front of some knick-knacks, and while there's something undeniably lyrical about the setting, it's the Montreal producer/singer's first track from her upcoming album Being that demands the most attention.
It reminds me of the "shaken-up versions" of the songs The Knife debuted at their live shows this year: grimy house music with an agenda. (The hook starts off with "1 2 3, don't fuck with me." That's what you hear right before you get the dressing down your drunken ass deserves. Everyone chooses to ignore your shitty opinions about Edward Snowden, but damn, you just had to bring them up on Friday at a disco.)
