Video: “Everyday Robots” renders Damon Albarn’s skull in uncannily accurate CGI

Ever want to “get inside” Damon Albarn's head?? Now you can!! Ha!!

- Jan 20, 2014

Damon Albarn's “Everyday Robots," directed by Aitor Throup, uses “actual cranial scans” to present a, er, unique view of one of pop music's most highly regarded heads. Surf the uncanny valley in (almost) real-time as you watch the skull that houses the brain that made Blur rendered in agonizing detail, to the tune of Albarn's technology-indicting new single. It continues the cold, plaintive air found on Bobby Womack's The Bravest Man In The Universe, probably because Richard Russell of XL Recordings produced that as well as Damon Albarn's Everyday Robots the album, out April 29th on Warner Brothers. Pre-order it here.
