[video] David Bowie returns with new song, new album, new age (66 years old)

- Jan 8, 2013

To ring in his 66th birthday, David Bowie announced that he will be releasing his new album The Next Day in March via Columbia, and released a video for his new song “Where Are We Now?”, streaming below. It will be his first album in over a decade, and his thirtieth studio recording, and just thinking about that math is giving me an existential crisis.

But if you're hoping to see him perform live, as surely every decent person is, bad news: no tour, probably! He won't be doing interviews either, meaning he won't have to sit through me stammering inanely for fifteen minutes. Good for both of us, then.

Here's the cover art. Watch the crazy, charming Tony Oursler-directed video below, followed by the track listing.
