Golden Dogs Unveil Coat Of Arms In July

The Golden Dogs' long-awaited follow-up to 2006's Big Eye Little Eye will finally be in stores as of July 27.
Coat Of Arms is coming out through Nevado Records. It was recorded at Zeus members Carlin Nicholson and Mike O'Brien's Toronto studio after a break following the departure of bassist Stew Heyduk and the band's release from their recording contract. Coat Of Arms features guest appearances from Bahamas and Zeus member (and ex-Golden Dog) Neil Quin.
"It was very much a 'best idea wins' situation and the songwriter always had final veto power," singer/guitarist Dave Azzolini says. "It was just musicians getting together to bounce ideas off each other."
Coat Of Arms will also be available on 12-inch vinyl.
You can hear "Permanent Record" here.
The Golden Dogs currently consist of Azzolini, singer/keyboardist Jessica Grassia, guitarist James Robertson, bassist Jay McCarroll and drummer Taylor Knox.
Here are the songs on Coat Of Arms:
"Dear Francis"
"Darkroom"
"As Long As You Like"
"Weapon"
"Cheap Umbrellas"
"Underwater Goldmine"
"Lester"
"Burst"
"Movie's Over"
"Permanent Record"
"Old Hat"
