Dangerbird Records, Hot Hot Heat's label south of the border, are offering a free MP3 of "21@21," the first single from the Victoria, B.C. band's upcoming Future Breeds album.
To get it, all you have to do is point your browser here and offer up your email address and ZIP/postal code.
In the meantime, Hot Hot Heat will hold residencies at Brooklyn, N.Y.'s Public Assembly every Wednesday in May and every Wednesday in June at Los Angeles' Bootleg Theatre, where you'll be able to see them play tunes from Future Breeds.
The disc comes out June 1, and is Hot Hot Heat's first album since 2007's Happiness Ltd. The band have described it as a "pretty complicated party album" and say it's got more keyboards than their previous work.
You can see singer/keyboardist Steve Bays, drummer Paul Hawley, guitarist Luke Paquin and bassist Louis Hearn here:
May 5 Brooklyn, NY @ Public Assembly w/ The Willowz, Grooms, DJ Shakeyface and DJ Oil
May 12 Brooklyn, NY @ Public Assembly w/ The Hymns, Stone Darling, The Stationary Set, DJ Shakeyface and DJ Oil
