Get out your Birkenstocks, bring your surfboard and grab your cargo shorts: Jack Johnson is coming.
The Hawaii singer/songwriter and surfer just announced a summer North American tour in support of of his upcoming fifth studio album, To The Sea.
The disc is out June 1, and Johnson will launch a European jaunt shortly after its release. That trek will see him play the Roskilde and Glastonbury festivals, in addition to shows in Germany, the Netherlands, France and Belgium.
The North American tour kicks off July 9 and runs through Aug. 26. Its second leg starts Oct. 1 in Vancouver. Tickets go on sale April 10.
To The Sea was recorded at Johnson's Mango Tree and Solar Powered Plastic Plant in Hawaii and Los Angeles, respectively, both of which are solar-powered. He co-produced the record with bassist Merlo Podlewski, keyboardist Jack Gill, drummer Adam Topol and engineer Robert Carranza. No track listing has been revealed yet.
Jackson has sold over 18 million albums worldwide since releasing his Brushfire Fairytales debut album in 2001. His most recent release is 2008's Sleep Through The Static.
