One has to wonder how many times Lily Allen is going to utter the words "I'm leaving the music business" in her upcoming TV documentary series.
Allen, who recently said for the umpteenth time that she was going to leave music, has signed up to do a new "fly-on-the-wall" TV documentary series about opening Lucy In Disguise, her new designer clothing store, and launching her own record label.
"Lily was approached about the new TV show and thought it would help promote her new ventures as well as letting people get to know her a bit better," a source told Britain's The Sun tabloid.
There's not much more information about the series yet, and it also doesn't have a definite title.
This won't be Allen's first time on television — she hosted a BBC3 talk show called Lily Allen And Friends in 2008. She's also appeared on Australian soap opera Neighbours.
Allen won a best British female BRIT Award last month, and said that "hasn't changed" her plans to leave music for at least two years.
"It is the perfect way to say goodbye," she said, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. "I have so much I want to do now with my shop and record label."
You can see Lily Allen at London, England's Wireless Festival in Hyde Park on July 4.
