DD/MM/YYYY Playing 20 SXSW Shows (Yup, 20)

How many shows can you play in five days before you collapse from exhaustion? DD/MM/YYYY will attempt to find out when they play 20 (yes, that number is correct) shows during the South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas next week.

Vivian Girls and The Mae-Shi have performed 18 shows at South By Southwest in previous years, but DD/MM/YYYY intend to make those two acts, in the words of K-OS, "eat a dick."

The band plan to start writing and recording tunes for a split album with Calgary's Women when they get home, but they should probably take at least a day to rest after their insane schedule. That LP should be out sometime later this year.

DD/MM/YYYY are wrapping up a European tour this week before heading home to North America. You can see the band here:
