Blondie Converse Shoes Available For Teenagers Who Have No Idea Who Blondie Are

Blondie singer Deborah Harry is a pretty fashionable lady, so it makes sense that Blondie now have their own line of Converse shoes, which Harry's helped design.
Three different versions and styles of the Blondie Converse shoes are available. They come as black Chuck Taylor high-tops with pink laces, Harry's image on the side and "BLONDIE" written in pink. They're also available as low-tops with leopard print patterns and pink, red and green "Blondie" lettering on the side.
The shoes are going for between $55 to $85 U.S., and are part of Converse's new "punk" collection that, yes, also includes those new Clash shoes. (We think it's safe to say this line now proves punk truly is dead.)
You can check out the entire "Punk Collection" of Converse shoes on the company's website.
Blondie are currently working on the follow-up to 2003's The Curse Of Blondie, which Harry recently told Spin.com sounds "mature."
"We really wanted to have a combination of different elements — that's sort of been a tradition with us," she said.
It's not known when the album will be in stores, and it also doesn't have a title yet.
In the meantime, you can see Harry, guitarist/bassist Chris Stein, guitarist Paul Carbonara, bassist Leigh Fox, keyboardist Matt Katz-Bohen and drummer Clem Burke at the Isle Of Wight Festival in Newport, England on June 12 and at the Westonbirt Arboretum in Tetbury, England on June 20.
