Linkin Park Releasing 100 Albums

Linkin Park have taken a page from Pearl Jam's bloated idea to release dozens of different live recordings in 2001 and have announced they're putting out more than 100 professional recordings as digital releases.
The recordings, which are being dubbed the LP Archives: Official Tour Bootlegs, will be available for download to members of the band's LP Underground fan club. Members will also get a 25 per cent discount on their purchases during the initial two-week promotional period.
The shows are reportedly culled from the band's touring in support of 2007's Minutes To Midnight album. Each show will be available for $9.99.
"We originally decided it would be cool to let our fans buy a recording of the show they just attended," drummer Rob Bourdon says. "Once we saw the positive response to that, we figured it would be even better to make all of the shows available to anyone who would like to download them. We wanted to make the highest quality recordings available to all of our fans."
Linkin Park released a new song entitled "Not Alone" earlier this year as part of the Music For Relief campaign to help those affected by the earthquake in Haiti.
The band are working on the follow-up to Minutes To Midnight, which they've described as "beat-driven."
