Irish Luck: Arcade Fire Announce First Date Of 2010 In Dublin

Arcade Fire will come out of their self-imposed hibernation this summer when they play the Oxegen Festival in Dublin, Ireland.
The July 8-11 festival, which will be held at Punchestown Racecourse just outside the Irish capital, is the first confirmed live date Win Butler, Regine Chassagne and company will play this year.
According to NME.com they're expected to play a few more European festivals this summer, but nothing's been announced yet.
Muse, Eminem, Jay-Z, The Prodigy and The Black Eyed Peas are among the other artists scheduled to play the Oxegen Festival so far.
Tickets go on sale March 12 at 8 a.m. GMT (that's 3 a.m. ET) and are available through the Oxegen Festival website. If you really, really want to go, you can secure your ticket with a 120 pound deposit.
Arcade Fire are said to be working on the follow-up to 2007's Neon Bible with producer Markus Dravs. There's not much known about the record so far, though it should be out later this year.
