Moby Releases Canadian Apple Store Session On iTunes

Musical acts like Billy Talent and The Shins have done it, and now Moby can add himself to the list: the electronica DJ will release his own Apple store performance session on March 2.

Moby iTunes Live From Montreal was recorded during his extensive Canadian tour last fall, where Moby made a stop at the Apple Store's Saint Catherine Street location in Montreal. The stripped down (for Moby) set encompassed guitar, violin and piano and featured tour vocalists Kelli Scarr and Inyang Bassey.

Moby mainly played tracks from his latest album, 2009's Wait For Me, and select cuts from his back catalogue like Play's "Porcelain" and 18's "We Are All Made Of Stars."

The iTunes Live session will be released through iTunes in North America on March 2, but is available internationally on Monday (March 1).
