Lady Gaga Scarecrow Frightens Birds Away

Lady Gaga
No, that isn't Lady Gaga you see standing in the middle of that random field — it's a scarecrow.

British farmer Nigel Britten got so annoyed with pigeons eating his wheat fields that he created a seven-foot scarecrow inspired by Lady Gaga's Marie Antoinette-esque BRIT Awards get-up last week, according to the Daily Mirror.

"We put her up last week and she's had a remarkable effect," Britten told the tabloid. "The birds must be terrified of her because they have stayed away.

"I know it's not a traditional scarecrow, but I suppose we have to move with the times. I don't know whether it's the dress or the hair, but the birds daren't approach the field anymore."

Well, there's nothing really "traditional" about Gaga anyway! Would this scarecrow be as effective if it were wearing bondage gear or something along those lines? We suggest someone make a line of Lady Gaga scarecrows to figure this out.

Meanwhile, Gaga's The Fame debut album has officially been certified diamond, which is something huge in music these days because it means it's sold 10 million copies. Every other musician struggling to make a buck is swearing profusely right now.
