Sloan have just put out their first rarities collection, B-Sides Win: Extras, Bonus Tracks And B-Sides 1992-2008.
The 26-track collection is available through the band's website for the ridiculously low price of $9.99. It also comes with a digital booklet and track-by-track commentary from the band. You know that means a lot of Chris Murphy cracking jokes with Jay Ferguson while Patrick Pentland and Andrew Scott attempt to act like adults.
"Now, some hardcore Sloan followers may notice a couple omissions... but fear not, you completists!" Ferguson says. "We're hopefully planning for those specific tracks to see the light of day on our digital store as part of more releases in the future."
Sloan released a greatest hits collection (kinda), A-Sides Win: Singles 1992-2005, in 2005. Think of B-Sides Win as its companion, and not just because B comes after A in the alphabet.
Here are the songs on B-Sides Win: Extras, Bonus Tracks And B-Sides 1992-2008:
"Underwhelmed" (original Hear & Now version)
"Amped"
"Sleepover"
"Rag Doll"
"Laying Blame"
"Pillow Fight"
"D Is For Driver"
"Stood Up" (studio version)
"Same Old Flame" (studio version)
"Work Cut Out"
"Out To Lunch"
"Glad To Be Here"
"Summer's My Season"
"At The Edge Of The Scene"
"Had Enough"
"Helen"
"Pretty Together" (demo)
"Are You Giving Me Back My Love" (Russian Futurists version)
"Step On It, Jean"
"Dirty Nails"
"Will You Ever Love Me Again?"
"I Thought That I Was Ready For You"
"Tell Me Something I Don't Know"
"Even Though"
"The Best Part Of Your Life"
"Believe In Me" (reprise)
