Woodhands Aren't Experiencing Rural Albertan Disadvantage

Paul Banwatt and Dan Werb, the nerdy-duo behind Toronto-based Woodhands have just released their second album, Remorsecapade — the follow-up to their hugely successful 2008 Heart Attack debut album.
To say they've been resting since their last disc couldn't be any further from the truth. Banwatt's once former "side-project" The Rural Alberta Advantage (perhaps you've heard of them?) have blown up, and that band have since become their own force to be reckoned with.
But don't worry. It's all going to be fine, Banwatt assures.
"We've taken a lot of steps to try and make everything work. We're all friends, which really helps," he said in an interview with CHARTAttack last week. "Like, we were all friends before either band was really doing much, so it's kind of awesome that we've managed to work it out."
It's not just The RAA that have made the last two years for Woodhands unbelievably busy. Between jet-setting across North America, Japan and China, to being interviewed by Playboy, the gentlemen behind Woodhands have been working hard to put out Remorsecapade, which they somehow managed to do (and do extremely well) all things considered.
There are rumours they have another big cross-Canadian tour in the works, but that, like the prospect of the release of Werb's solo album, may all just be a ruse for a greater plan.
As for what 2010 has to offer, we can expect more music videos, more shows, and more badass collaborations and covers.
