Nickelback Vs. Facebook Pickle

Chad Kroeger likes pickles. He's written songs about them and even tried to eat one for a case of beer at one time.

So it's only appropriate that a bored person would start a Facebook page called "Can this pickle get more fans than Nickleback [sic]?"

Nickelback currently have about 1,400,000 fans on Facebook, but the pickle is closing in on that in a big way, since it already has about 960,000 fans.

This is the latest "can this food get more fans than" Facebook pages. The trend started with a page dubbed "Can This Onion Ring Get More Fans Than Stephen Harper" about a week back (it did).

Another group, "Can This Onion Ring Get More Fans Than Justin Bieber," also popped up last week, and there's now pages like "Can This Turd Get More Fans Than Rush Limbaugh?" and "Can This Coconut Get More Fans Than Victoria Beckham?"

I'm waiting for someone to start a Facebook group called "Petition Nickelback To Change Their Name To Pickleback If Pickle Wins." Do it, someone. Please.
