Questions To Ask Flaming Lips Member During His Guest University Lecture

The Flaming Lips

Students of the University Of Central Oklahoma should prepare themselves for their class on Wednesday (Feb. 10) because it will likely warp their minds.

The Flaming Lips' Steve Drozd is set to teach a Master's class at the school's Academy Of Contemporary Music, according to Spinner. He'll lecture on writing and creating music and how the music business works.

Drozd helped start the Academy last year, and he's not the first musician to guest-teach a class. Who singer Roger Daltrey has previously done a lecture, as has rockabilly legend Wanda Jackson.

Here's some things I'd ask Drozd if I had the chance to sit in on his class, just to be obnoxious (these questions aren't exactly related to the lecture's subject matter, but whatever):

How exactly does Wayne Coyne walk around on top of crowds while inside the big, plastic bubble and not fall and hurt himself?

Does he ever get a really strong urge to take that giant plastic ball to the top of a really tall hill and just roll down on his side like you see kids doing at a park?

Just how many special brownies does one have to consume before coming up with titles like "Psychiatric Explorations Of The Fetus With Needles" and "Yeah, I Know It's A Drag... But Wastin' Pigs Is Still Radical"?

How do you know clouds taste metallic? How did you manage to defy gravity long enough to find out? Why are you not sharing your secrets?

Why the hell would anyone ever put vaseline on their toast?

Is there a hidden secret message at the end of this lecture, just like at the end of Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots?
