Radiohead Not Finished New Album

Radiohead

Kiddies! Do not believe everything you read on the internet!

Contrary to rumours floating around on the interwebs, Radiohead have not finished recording a new album.

Whisperings began flying around online this week that Radiohead had wrapped work on the follow-up to 2007's In Rainbows and had held a party in Los Angeles to celebrate being finished.

But the band's publicist told Entertainment Weekly that the band are not done their as-yet-untitled eighth studio album.

Despite that, you'll be able to hear new music featuring singer/guitarist Thom Yorke and drummer Phil Selway quite soon.

Yorke will appear on Cosmogramma, the upcoming new album from Los Angeles electronic musician Flying Lotus. He sings on "...And The World Laughs With You," which will be included on the disc when it hits stores May 4.

Yorke is also on the upcoming bonus remix disc included with Liars' Sisterworld album, out March 9.

Selway has announced a European solo tour that will take place from late March to early April with Indiana singer/songwriter Lisa Germano.

Selway was recently reported to be working on a solo album, but it's not known when it will be released.
