Plants And Animals have just announced a Canadian tour that kicks off on April 21, the day after their La La Land sophomore album hits stores. That gives you plenty more chances to get high... on their music!
Singer/guitarist Warren C. Spicer, bassist Nicolas Basque and drummer Woodman will head across Canada after playing a shows during Canadian Music Week in March and hitting Austin, Texas' South By Southwest Music Festival later that month.
La La Land hits stores April 20 (4/20!) through Secret City Records. The follow-up to 2008's Parc Avenue is probably one of the many entries on your very, very crowded (and it's only February!) 2010 Polaris Music Prize betting sheet.
You can be sure there will be plenty of bilingualism, neo-psychedelic indie rock and sweaters at these shows:
March 12 Toronto, ON @ Lee's Palace (Canadian Music Week)
March 13 Toronto, ON @ Fairmont Royal York Hotel (Indie Awards)
March 17-21 Austin, TX @ South By Southwest Music Festival
April 21 Quebec City, QC @ Theatre Petit Champlain
April 22 Montreal, QC @ Cabaret La Tulipe
April 23 Ottawa, ON @ Babylon
April 24 Peterborough, ON @ Red Dog Tavern
April 28 Winnipeg, MB @ West End Cultural Centre
April 29 Saskatoon, SK @ Amigos Cantina
April 30 Edmonton, AB @ The Starlite Room
May 1 Calgary, AB @ The Legion
May 2 Kelowna, BC @ Habitat
May 4 Victoria, BC @ Sugar Nightclub
May 5 Vancouver, BC @ The Commodore Ballroom
